You’re dead son," Jack said. "Cheer is contraindicated.
I’m watching Supernatural, and at the end of S7 Ep 17, “The Born-Again Identity,” Dean says, “All our friend are dead.”
All I could think of was this book…
You need to learn to let go of whatever it is that makes you think you’re not good enough. Because that’s how you’re going to beat this. When you learn that you matter.
I struggle with this one, and I’m not saying that to get lots of affirmation from you guys, just because it’s true. I go up and down on it. Some days I feel worthy, and like I matter, other days, the depression takes over and convinces me I’m not worth crap. That’s one of the fun things about depression…So far, today is one of the good days ;)

Ghost Story was definitely one of the more interesting books in the Dresden Files! I mean, after all, the main character was a ghost for the duration of the book. I loved seeing how Butcher used that to drive the story and add a different flavor to this book versus the other books in the series. Of course, being a ghost didn’t stop Dresden from being totally bad ass.
I love writing. I love the swirl and swing of words as they tangle with human emotions.
